Stray Animal Care & Population Control 🐾

OIPA Cameroon works to improve the lives of stray and abandoned animals across communities in Cameroon. Many dogs and cats live on the streets without food, shelter, or access to medical care. These animals often suffer from injuries, disease, hunger, and neglect.

Our stray animal program focuses on rescuing, treating, and protecting vulnerable animals while also promoting responsible pet ownership in communities.

Our activities include:

  • Rescue and emergency care for injured and sick stray animals
  • Veterinary treatment and rehabilitation for animals in need
  • Vaccination campaigns to prevent diseases such as Rabies
  • Population control programs through humane sterilization
  • Rehoming and adoption of rescued animals into safe and loving homes
  • Community education on responsible animal care and compassion toward animals

Through these actions, OIPA Cameroon helps reduce the number of stray animals, improve animal welfare, and promote peaceful coexistence between animals and people.
