Wildlife Protection & Conservation 🦍.

Cameroon is home to extraordinary wildlife, many of which are threatened by poaching, habitat destruction, and illegal wildlife trade. OIPA Cameroon works with local communities, conservation partners, and authorities to protect wildlife and preserve biodiversity.
Our efforts focus on raising awareness, supporting conservation initiatives, and promoting peaceful coexistence between people and wildlife. We advocate for the protection of endangered species such as the Cross River Gorilla, African Forest Elephant, and the rare Goliath Frog. Through education and community engagement, we help ensure that these species continue to survive for future generations.

Our vaccination activities include:

  • Mass vaccination campaigns for dogs and cats in communities
  • Rabies prevention programs to protect both animals and people
  • Mobile veterinary outreach in underserved rural areas
  • Education and awareness on responsible animal care and disease prevention
  • Treatment and basic health checks for animals during vaccination campaigns
